Privacy Statement

The Data Protection Act
Under the Data Protection Act 1998, we have a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you. We do not pass on your details to any third party unless you give us permission.

All access to the astutech web site is anonymous, unless you voluntarily offer information via a form or instruction. We do not store or capture personal information from general users. The Site only logs User's IP addresses that are automatically recognised by the web server. We use a web log analysis and visitor tracking program to provide statistics regarding the number of visitors, and which sites referred them. This information is captured at the statistical level, and no information is kept on individual visitors.

Cookies
We do not use cookies for collecting user information and we will not collect any information about users for system administration of our web server.

We collect information from visitors to our web site in two ways:

• Requests for information or services via, telephone contact, email and online forms.
• Feedback via an online form.

Third Parties
We do not pass on any information regarding our visitors to any third party, body or organisation.

Payment Terms

Services
Our standard payment terms for all our services is 28 days from date of invoice or delivery. For larger projects we usually arrange a mutually acceptable stage payments system based on delivery of key elements. Some clients may wish to spread the cost of services over a longer period and this can be arranged subject to status (please contact us to discuss your requirements). All ownership and copyright of code, design and graphics remain with astutech until payment is made in full.

Software
The wordserver software licence runs for 12 months and is available to set-up, purchase and renew online (please click here). You can spread the cost over 12 months by opting for easy continuous credit card payments. Alternatively, cheque, credit card or Direct Debit payments can be arranged by our friendly and helpful telephone sales staff on 01603 666 073.

Local authority and externally funded organisations
Schools and educational establishments, councils and councillors, civil service departments and other official personnel may gain instant access to wordserver and receive an invoice on our standard 28 day terms. Please contact us for details or telephone 01603 666 073.
